His name is Jovinski Thorne. He is ten-years-old and has just signed to Kross Kolor Records. “I have never met a ten year old like this one,” says Burchmore Simon of Kross Kolor.

“He has an amazing attention span and will simply rehearse a song for as long as is necessary which to me is simply amazing. He’s very sure of himself, wants to become a professional performer, write his own songs and loves to dance.”

Jovinski has been singing and dancing since the age of six and with the full support of his parents,


he has grown from strength to strength and his entry to the KKR family will ensure that he is nurtured to develop his potential and talent to its maximum.

Kross Kolor has just released his first reggae/ ballad single “Too Young” written by Wilbur ‘B52’ Levans which speaks to people who believe that he is too young to become a performer. He makes the point in the song that even though he is young, with God by his side, he can succeed.

Jovinski likes surfing the internet, singing, dancing, and playing video games. He hopes to someday tour internationally and truly represent Guyana among the best in the world. He might only be ten but he is focused on his dreams and with support from his parents, the KKR production and the Guyanese public, Jovinski will ultimately live his dreams.
