UPDATE: According to the promoters Vybz Kartel will be in Guyana to perform!...Show Officially Off.
GSB.com has contacted the promoters and they have comfirmed that Vybz Kartel and the Portmore Empire will be in Guyana to perform for the show tonight.
What we can tell you for sure is four of the members from the Portmore Empire have already arrived and according to the promoters Vybz Kartel himself will be in Guyana before 6:00pm this evening.

As we express appreciation for the support we have received from our sponsors and fans we the management of Conscious Minds promotions regret to announce that the Vybz Kartel Peace Concert scheduled for today, Saturday December 12 at the National Park has been CANCELED.
This announcement comes even as several members of the Portmore Empire have arrived in Guyana.
We are advising that persons who purchased tickets for our event will receive FULL REFUND starting TUESDAY at all ticketing locations.
We again express our DEEP REGRET at the DISAPPOINTMENT that our supporters must feel and pledge that we will make good with other promotions.

Portmore Empire artistes, Laing held hostage in Guyana; released
Members of the Portmore Empire, along with Supreme Promotions’ Isaiah Laing, were reportedly held hostage at a house in Guyana following Saturday’s cancellation of a show headlined by Vybz Kartel, who was a no-show.
Reports are that on Sunday morning, the members of the Portmore Empire, and Laing, who had accompanied the entourage to the island, were moved from the Princess International Hotel in Guyana to a private house.
“The promoters took Jahvinci, Rhyno, Laing and the others out of the hotel to an unknown location. Laing was in Room 415 and Jahvinci was in Room 436,” the source stated.
Reports are that the promoter, who has reportedly lost thousands of dollars, was in negotiations with Vybz Kartel via telephone.
“The artistes were complaining that they were uncomfortable at first,” the source said, adding that all in the entourage were uncertain what to expect, following the move from the hotel to the unknown location.
However, after talks with the Gaza President, a deal was worked out whereby the artistes would do a number of dub plates for the promoter.
“They will have to sing until their throats hurt them,” the source said
