A judge on Tuesday sentenced Chris Brown to five years' probation, six months' community labor for the beating of Rihanna and ordered the R&B singer to stay away from his former girlfriend for the next five years. Like that’s gonna happen.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg told Brown that he could be sent to state prison if he violated any terms of his sentence, including an order to stay 100 yards away from Rihanna unless they're attending music industry events. Let’s see if they can resist.
A probation report prepared for Tuesday's sentencing describes two previous violent incidents. The first happened about three months before the February beating while the couple was traveling in Europe; Rihanna slapped Brown during an argument, and he shoved her into a wall. In the second instance, Brown allegedly broke the front and passenger side windows on a Range Rover they were driving while visiting Barbados, Rihanna 's home country. Neither attack was reported, the probation report states.
Brown will serve his sentence in his home state — Virginia — and his community labor will be overseen by the police chief in Richmond.
The judge said she wanted to ensure that Brown, 20, performs physical labor instead of community service, such as mentoring young people. He will also undergo a year of domestic violence counseling.
Rihanna did not attend Tuesday's sentencing. I guess she had other more important stuff to do than watch her abuser face the music.

As if the Brooklyn rapper didn't have enough on his hands with The Game and the rising D.O.H. (Death of Hova) campaign. He, along with his wife Beyonce have been the recipients of letters with death threats as the topic.
Leon Desmond Barrett, a native of Detroit, was charged for allegedly sending letters to celebrities such as the rapper and former NFL star Jerome Bettis threatening to kill them. In regards to the NFL, Barrett must have his gripes with them in particular as prosecutors have stated that he has sent over 14 letters to the Hall of Fame and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell from 2006 to now.
A complaint was filed Wednesday in regards to Barrett's alleged misdoings which fueled the investigation.
One letter made reference to the killings that happened at Virginia Tech saying that it will be another massacre similar to the school in Virginia happening in Detroit. Barrett must be a bold individual as it was reported that he penned his signature on the majority of the letters along with his home address. Guess that must mean that he wanted any problems to be brought to his front door step as Local 4 news went to his home to question his letters. A simple reply of “No” was given by Barrett when questioned of having anything to say about the allegations and if he had indeed sent the letters.
The tragedy of 9/11has sent a wave of suspicion throughout the United States government to the degree where mail is heavily investigated. This also stemmed from the letters that were mailed with Anthrax back around 2001. In August 2008, the US Department of Justice made the announcement that they believed Dr. Bruce Ivins was responsible for the attacks.
The Detroit news was able to reveal the message that referenced the celebrities mentioned:
A letter dated Aug. 18, 2007, said: "I'm getting ready to start killing some more people. Beyonce, Jay-Z, Jerome Bettis and Tune-up Man are the first 4 people I'm getting ready to kill."
Although all of the celebrities have been contacted about the letter, there has yet to be a response from any. Barrett has not appeared in U.S. District Court in Detroit yet.
The 19-year-old singer who has been charged with felony assault and making criminal threats following his alleged assault of Rihanna last month was having a relationship with 27-year-old Natasha Ellie.It has been claimed Natasha sent the three-page text message which is the subject of Rihanna's Emergency Room.
In the lyrics she mentions finding Natasha's number in Chris' jeans. Rihanna didn't write the song, but she met with the songwriter and told her how she felt and what she was going through and they came up with it.
Emergency Room includes the lyrics: "I was pickin' up your clothes in the closet/ I was 'bout to throw your jeans in the washer/ 'Til I saw a piece of paper sayin' "Tasha"/ I gotta say I found this a bit shockin'/ And some receipts here that say you went shoppin'/ You bought some Nike shoes/ But why you buyin stockings?/ Boy how could you lie to me?/ I thought you would die for me/ I'm not accepting another apology."
Natasha lives in Los Angeles and has worked as a runway model and also starred in several R&B videos, for artists including R. Kelly and Akon.
Natasha's representative has denied the model had a relationship with Chris, but confirmed the pair met in Miami two years ago....uhh yeah right..she aint even prettier than RiRi. First was his agent now a model, we wonder who else name's gonna pop up.
According to MTO, Rihanna has officially ended things Chris Brown and the manner in which it was done was "scandelous".
The insider, who spoke to MTO on the condition of anonymity, explained that Rihanna gave Chris an ultimatum – end all contact with manager Tina Davis, or lose her. The insider explained, “Rihanna will not take him back, especially if there is still any kind of relationship between him and Tina Davis - personal or professional! But he is not prepared to fire her, and [so he] lost Rihanna.”
As MTO reported earlier, Tina and Chris have been rumored to be having a sexual relationship for many years. According to TMZ.com, Tina sent Chris a sexual text message - which sparked the assault incident. Tina has since issued a public statement - claiming that she and Chris were not sexually involved.
And so as of last THURSDAY NIGHT, Rihanna and Chris are officially over. Another insider told MTO, “[Rihanna] left Los Angeles to clear her head … and get him out of her mind.”
But while Rihanna seems to be moving past the incident, Chris is reportedly falling into a very deep depression. A person close to Chris’ camp explains, “Initially he was confident that he’d get past this, but he’s beginning to loose hope … [Many] people are worried about him … I’ve never seen him like this.”

Since the release of different reports that Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together and were reunited at P Diddy's Beach House in Miami,It as began to anger many of Rihanna's fans mostly females and industry insiders such as Oprah Winfrey and former manhattan sex-crimes prosecutor Linda Fairstein.
Oprah Winfrey: "If a man hits you once, he will hit you again. He will hit you again."
She also went on to say that, she would dedicate a program about the situation on her next show - Domestic Violence.
"I want to do a show about it, dedicated to all the Rihannas of the world."
The former Manhattan sex-crimes prosecutor Linda Fairstein went as far as to compare the Chris Brown, Rihanna's saga to O.J. Simpson's case.
"Many of the circumstances in her case were like the early warning signs in the O.J. Simpson case," Fairstein said.
She also mentioned the fact that Chris Brown choked Rihanna while saying, "Now I'm really going to kill you" is a particularly bad sign.
"Choking behavior is a very interesting factor. It's hands on, face-to-face. It's a very intimate type of violence," she said. Well if she wants to get back with him..well lets just say its HER blood...
Not only did Chris Brown beat Rihanna’s face in… now he’s trying to destroy her career.Whispers are all over the place that Rihanna is on the verge of losing all her major endorsements over this whole assault incident.

Learning that his daughter and Chris Brown have reconciled, Rihanna's father says he supports the singer in her decisions."Whatever road she chooses, I'm behind her," said Ronald Fenty, when reached by telephone in Barbados. Fenty took the reunion in stride Saturday, as he worked selling novelty items on a street corner in downtown Bridgetown. He says he hasn't spoken to his daughter since earlier this month, for her 21st birthday, and only found out about the reconciliation through the media.
"We are a family who stick together even though we are apart," he tells PEOPLE.
Rihanna and Brown have been in Miami Beach together, almost three weeks after Brown, 19, allegedly battered the "Umbrella" singer on Feb. 8, a source tells PEOPLE.
"While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves," the source says.
As for Rihanna, Fenty would only say, "She's a smart girl." When asked what he would tell Brown as a father, he demurred, "I have no comment on Chris Brown."

Riri has come out of hiding after the tragic incident with ex bf Chris Brown. The 19-year-old singer accused of beating his ex-girlfriend earlier this month has been left fearing for his life, after receiving a series of menacing messages following the publication of a photo of a battered woman believed to be Rihanna.A source told In Touch Weekly magazine: "Chris is scared. Not only has he probably lost his career and his girlfriend, but he's also fearing for his security and his life.
"The photo was the last straw. The threats started pouring in the moment that appeared."
Rihanna, 21, allegedly told police Chris beat her, choked her until she passed out and threatened to kill her during an argument in Los Angeles.
Brown has been charged with making criminal threats and was released on $50,000 bail. He is being investigated for other felonies, including domestic violence and assault resulting in great bodily injury.
The source added: "He faces criminal charges and possible jail time, but he's going to have to deal with Rihanna's legion of fans and her close-knit friends in the industry."
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has confirmed it is still investigating how the photograph - a close-up of a young woman's face with cuts on her lips, bruises to her cheeks and forehead and a swollen nose - was leaked.
LAPD spokesman, Lieutenant John Romero said: "They said they were looking into it vigorously. We are not talking about the protocols, because it will relate to this investigation."
Although the LAPD has not formally identified the woman in the picture as Rihanna, they have admitted the picture appears to have been taken "during an official domestic violence investigation."
A very disturbing photo of superstar Rihanna's battered face has been leaked to the public via entertainment website TMZ.com.Now that the photo is released, industry insiders and fans are now wondering if Chris Brown will indeed face criminal charges.
However according ABC News legal analyst Dana Cole, "If there's just swelling then Chris Brown may get away with simply being charged as a misdemeanor. If that picture does in fact depict broken bones, facial fractures, contusions, then he's looking at a felony and probable jail time.
Who leaked the photo?
According to reports, only the cops who were on the scene took photos of Rihanna’s injuries so the photo could have only been leaked to the public by someone of that police division. An internal investigation has now been launched by the Los Angeles Police Department.
A popular site is claiming that another popular website is responsible for the leak after allegedly paying thousands....and because of such, Rihanna's attacker Chris Brown, may go free. That website is currently under investigation by the LAPD.
