Apparently Chris Brown and Rihanna are officially back together. Here's how People Magazine is reporting it:
Oh, yea KAPOWW...... It’s Beyonce, and she’s on the cover of Ebony in one of her most intimidating Sasha Fierce stances ever. Grrrrrrr......In Beyonce’s interview with Ebony she chatted about retiring, touring, and her hubby’s organization skills:
R&B/Pop chart-topping singer Beyonce says she’s not retiring anytime soon !
“I will never retire. I love it way to much,” Beyonce shares with Ebony.
“I’ve worked so hard on my craft and I will never stop.”
According to the singer’s sit down with Ebony for its April issue, Beyonce seems fully aware that she’s stepping over an earlier comment that she’d retire to have children in her 20s.
In related news, Beyonce, who is plotting a world tour, taking place spring/summer, says she works so hard that she’s very relaxed at home.
“I’m a little messy. Whenever I’m out in public, I have to be put together.”
“When I get home, I rebel against it and I don’t want to take care of anything. I drop it.”
Unlike her hubby, Jay-Z, Beyonce says “He’s very, very organized. I’m extremely organized when I’m working, and I work so much that when I get home I don’t want to think about anything”.
…and some more specific tour information:
Beyonce Knowles will embark on a world tour dubbed “I Am…” to support her latest effort “I Am…Sasha Fierce”. She has listed at least five Canadian tour dates, including the one held on March 26 at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta.
After performing in Edmonton, Beyonce will head up to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for another live show on March 27. The following day, the wife of rapper Jay-Z will sing at MTC Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Beyonce is also scheduled to make a live appearance on March 29 at General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia. Following her Canadian leg, she will return to America, singing in Seattle’s Key Arena on April 1 and then continue with other shows in Europe and Asia. Tour dates for her European and Asian concerts are expected to be announced soon.
She stays busy, we’ll give her that. Get it while the getting’s good.
Racist jokes are still in style with some white folks:Los Alamitos Mayor Dean Grose has stepped down as Mayor of Los Alamitos, CA after sending out this fake photo of watermelons on President Barack Obama’s White House front lawn. Grose’s email included the heading, “No Easter Egg hunt this year.”
“I think he’s saying that since there’s a black president, there will be no need to hunt for eggs since they’re growing watermelons in the front yard this year,” said Keyanus Price, an African American who was among those receiving the email. Price told Fletcher that she considers the email rascist and offensive.
“What I’m concerned about is how can this person send an e-mail out like this and think it is OK?” Price said. “He’s putting the city into a bad place and he is a liability.”
Grose apologized to Price, city council members and others.
“It was just poor judgment on my part and I am deeply sorry,” he said.
SMH. Well, we know who he voted for. Although a move in the right direction, Barack Obama as President won’t automatically kill the racism and ignorance that’s embedded in America.

Jamaican superstar Mavado is being heralded as the savior of Dancehall, very ironic after years of vilification in the media, but it’s easy to see why. Currently breaking barriers for Dancehall music, Mavado is firmly entrenching himself in the fabric of US popular culture. Another round of promotion in New York saw Mavado make an appearance at the MTV studios in Times Square, where he recorded an in-depth interview with Rahman Dukes for the station's flagship MTV News slot. From there it was on to the G Unit offices, to record an interview for 50 Cent's wildly popular entertainment website www.thisis50.com. The videotaped interview will go up on Sunday on thisis50.com and will run the whole of next week, coinciding with the March 3rd release of Mavado's sophomore album "Mr Brooks - A Better Tomorrow."
Riri has come out of hiding after the tragic incident with ex bf Chris Brown. She was spotted in Mexico vacationing and seemed to be in somewhat of a depressive state, who can blame her with what transpired in the last couple of weeks.

While Vanilla settled for second at the Soca monarch 2009 her song 'Rude' was the most played on Mash day securing her spot as Road March title. Though excited at winning $250,000 the win was simply another feather in her cap as she had claimed the title in 2007 with her song titled 'queen of the band'.Last year her fellow Kross Kolor Record label crew member Big Red won over her song by one point.
That being said the show had moderate success with a fair turnout the local artistes X2, Celeste David, Big Red, Shelly G and Timeka Marshall all performed to the best of their ability with little crowd support as usual.
The artistes that were called in to perform at last minute, Sherwayne Winchester, Peter Ram, Biggie Irie, Maxi Priest and Beenie Man all performed well. Serani which was originally booked to perform with T-Pain also performed fairly well altho the crowd was a bit bored and slight murmers of bordom could be heard. But is was Beenie Man that locked off the show as he was the main act and boy did he deliver. Hit after hit he had the crowd in a frenzy with his antics and he dropped some wicked freestyles also.

But this year's pretty young things attend for a few thousand bucks' worth of free clothes, grab gift bags missing high-end goodies and settle for McDonald's instead of Starbucks or champagne.
