Jay-Z And Beyonce 2nd Hottest And Richest Couple In The World !!!

Say word....yes you read that correct our girl Bey and hobby Jay-Z came in at number two on the Zimbio 100 Hottest Celebrities Couples in Hollywood. The spot places them in between Angelina and Brad #1 with Victoria and David Beckham #3. Read all about it when you

Success.

Parade magazine recently reported that Beyonce earned $80 million this year, while Jay-Z earned $82 million — a total of $162 million between them. Beyonce’s also been nominated for two Golden Globes and between the two of them, they have enough Grammys to fill a Maybach. Whether you’re looking at money, fame or honors, it doesn’t get much more successful than this couple.

Attractiveness.

Beyonce’s curves are bootylicious, and her face is so gorgeous that she’s been offered plenty of product endorsements, make-up giant L’Oreal among them. As for Jay-Z, his looks are nothing to write home about, but he’s got the golden voice and is stylish, having founded his own clothing brand, Rocawear.

Popularity.

Beyonce blows out the competition in this category. In April, about 20 million people Googled her, making her one of the most popular celebs on our list. People are slightly less interested in Jay-Z, who scored 5 million searches. With those numbers, these two are hard to beat.

Staying Power.

These two have been together for seven years, and they married in 2008. They never talk publicly about their relationship (excepting Beyonce’s brief spiel to Ellen DeGeneres below), prefering to keep it just between them, and neither of them has had any other high-profile romances. Basically, we’re just counting down to babies and happily ever after.

Compatibility.

Since Beyonce’s a Virgo, and Jay-Z is a Sagittarius, these two have very different approaches to life. He’s adventurous; she craves security. Eventually, he’s bound to get tired of the predictability. And chances are, everyone who just read this is cursing the invention of astrology.

Well we didn't get hands on the full list but here's a briefing:

Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith - 6th.
ice-T and Coco – 75th.
Mariah and Nick – 54th
Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri – 44th
Kanye and Amber - 37th??? (Guess they didn’t get the memo)
Nicole Scherzinger & Lewis Hamilton – 30th
Halle Berry & clear fellow – 14th
Heidi Klum and her Seal – 10th

Too bad Rihanna and Chris Brown didn't make.....well they did try !!!SMH

Monica 'Lady Guymine' Chopperfield passes on

Remembered as a very competitive person, cultural icon Monica Chopperfield better known as ‘Lady Guymine’ was saluted by those who knew her following her passing on Thursday at age 76. See the whole story when you

Opposition party, the PNCR said that Chopperfield was one of the country’s outstanding citizens and cultural ambassadors.

Her fellow Calypsonian Geoffrey ‘Mighty Rebel’ Phillips recalled that he was in many contests with her and she was very competitive and always felt that her compositions were good enough to win. He recalled that they used to go around in caravans and she “used to be the granny of the team”. The calypsonian noted that Chopperfield, along with other members of the local calypso fraternity, was a member of the People’s Culture Corps, a band that was based in Sophia under the PNC government.

Philips recalled that at one point in their careers, they were at loggerheads but this was eventually resolved and they became friends again. He stated that he showed her the respect that she deserved and on a visit to the United States in 2007, he urged her to return home. “I said to her ‘grandmother, you getting old, it time for you to come home’,” he recounted.

Chopperfield returned to Guyana last February and Philips said that he had last spoken with her last week. He recalled that recently he hosted a programme on Channel Two to honour her and the Mighty Kaieteur but she could not attend owing to ill-health. He stated that though she was very competitive, they always had a “nice” relationship.

Meantime, the PNC stated that Guyana should be grateful to Lady Guymine for, she not only extracted what was best from the world of music but she also brought those unique qualities of a Guyanese to different parts of the world and won the respect of many who crossed her path. “Death has brought to a close an outstanding musical career that began in Guyana and took her further afield to the Caribbean and North America. In her career path, Lady Guymine rubbed shoulders with some of the leading musical figures of the day, especially the great West Indian Calypsonians, the Mighty Sparrow, Lord Nelson and others. Her talent was a match for theirs,” the PNC said.

The party noted that it was only in 1966, when she participated in the Mashramani celebrations as Lady Guybau, that she entered the world of calypso. After being noticed by the legendary calypsonian, the Mighty Sparrow, she was invited to tour Trinidad and remained in his tent for two years. “As a calypsonian she entertained Guyanese, West Indians and the Diaspora. ‘Granny Fit’ was one of the most loved renditions. She was ranked fourth in the 1985 World Calypso Competition,” the PNC recalled.

The party noted that Chopperfield was not confined to any single musical genre and in her early career she was known as a ballad singer and, along with one of her contemporaries, Annie Haynes, became one of the early purveyors of innovative jazz and swing vocals. The party extended heartfelt condolences to the members of her sorrowing family.

Chopperfield was born on July 31, 1932, in Berbice and has lived in Georgetown, Linden, and New York. Her performing career started in a show produced by Zelda Martindale at the roofless Olympic Cinema on Lombard Street. For that show she was billed as “Baby Monica”. She would go on to sing across Guyana, in Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Suriname, French Guiana, Brazil, and the United States.

Chris Brown Speaks Out: "Im Not A Monster..."

So let me get this straight. Chris Brown allegedly beats up Rihanna inside of a car on a public street, doing everything from punching her to biting her, yet anyone who says, “You know, you really shouldn’t do that,” is the bad person.

Does one have to get socked in the eye to follow that logic?

Well, that’s how Chris Brown feels. During a live chat with Bow Wow last night, the man who now draws comparison to Ike Turner versus Michael Jackson, told the world “I’m not a monster.”

Maybe not, but he allegedly bites like one.

He also added, “We ain’t going nowhere. Everybody that’s haters, they just been haters. All my real fans, I love ya’ll. I ain’t a monster. Believe that.”

Chris Brown’s career should not end over one alleged slip up. His personal life shouldn’t overshadow his talent.

But, when you’re accused of domestic violence, should you be online talking about “the haters?”

Between the video chats, Twitter, and blogs, the internet is turning into one big PSA for publicists.

UPDATE: Jay-Z Now Gone To Warner...!!!

We reported earlier that Jay-Z was "95%" done with a deal to distribute his Roc Nation label through Sony, as Billboard reported, but now the New York Times is reporting Jigga might be striking a deal with Warner Music Group. A "well-placed industry source" told the paper that Jay-Z has been meeting with Lyor Cohen and Kevin Lies about the possibility of creating his own label, tentatively called Carter Music Group, through Warner.

"Jay knows Lyor and Kevin from back when they all worked together at Def Jam, and he obviously wants to work something out with his friends," the insider said. "He wants to get the dream team back together. There have been a few whiffs of a reunion in the past, but only now - and very privately - is something finally starting to happen." The source made sure to add "This is big in hip hop. These are three of the most powerful men in music, who might be working together, and there’s no question the success they’ll have as a team will be huge."

They Say: Jay-Z & Beyonce..... Same Label Company.... ?!?!?!

Remember we told ya'll last week that Jay-z bought his way out of his contract at Def Jam and he's ready to move on. Well we've now got word that the rap mogul is presently in talks with Warner Music Group.

The rumored deal between Jay-Z and Sony is reportedly almost done. The new partnership will bring Jigga's new Roc Nation label to the home of his wife, Beyonce. Inside sources say the deal "is 95% complete" and the formal announcement is expected to come within a few weeks.

One thing that is known for sure is that Jay-Z did not want to release his upcoming "Blueprint 3" album through Def Jam. "He definitely didn't want to release his album via Def Jam," said a Universal Music source. "And given his close relationship with (Sony executive and producer) Rick Rubin, it comes as no surprise that he'd make the switch."

Kanye West recently talked about the upcoming album in an interview with MTV. "He’s just been working on it, and it’s gonna be amazing when he drops it. I think it’s good he’s taking his time to give people the best product possible and not being rushed by this fast-food, media-outlet, Internet, everything-is-getting-leaked, people-stealing your songs before you can mix them and put them online world we’re living in right now."

More Rihanna News: Rihanna WILL be subpoenaed to testify in Chris Brown case!

Well, it looks like Rihanna will have to take the stand after all. According to TMZ, the Los Angeles District Attorney told Rihanna's lawyer Donald Etra in a hearing today that the singer will be subpoenaed.

Rihanna's lawyer says that his client will indeed cooperate and take the stand to testify at the preliminary hearing on June 22. "She will absolutely comply," he said. In the past, Etra had stated that Rihanna would testify if she was subpoenaed, and that is exactly what is going to happen. The preliminary hearing will determine whether or not the prosecution has enough evidence to go to trial.

Chris Brown has already pleaded not guilty to beating Rihanna after an altercation took place between the couple back on Feb. 8, the night before the Grammys.

The subpoenae isn't the only news that came out of today's hearing. People.com is also reporting that the judge in the case rejected a motion filed by Mark Geragos, Chris Brown's lawyer, asking for an order requiring the L.A.P.D. to give up the leaks in the case. Brown's lawyers want to know who leaked the photos of Rihanna's injuries.

Comeback queen Rihanna sizzles in lingerie and not much else in new Kanye West video..

Troubled singer Rihanna has thrown herself into her work since returning to the spotlight.

And despite saying little about the alleged attack on her at the hands of ex-boyfriend R&B singer Chris Brown, the 21-year-old is content to let her actions do the talking.

Rihanna sizzled in a sheer boned basque as she teamed up with rapper Kanye West in the video for his new track Paranoid.

Although she says nothing, her confident appearance speaks volumes.

Despite it being West's video, he was content to let Rihanna take centre stage and she is seen tossing and turning restlessly in bed and striking a series of seductive poses.

She later swaps the rather risque lingerie for an eighties-style white body con dress.

Rihanna has appeared at several high profile showbiz events over the last few weeks, while former lover Brown, 20, has been in hiding.

They Say: Timeka's Hit Single ''All Night" To Be Theme Song For New Season Of CSI: Maimi!!!

So it seems that Guyanese songbird Timeka Marshall dreams maybe coming through sooner than she expected. According to a local website the diva first ever hit single ''All Night'' which is currently at the # 1 spot on the Jamaican RE-TV charts as we reported earlier this week.

She could gain international recognition shortly if her song is selected as the theme for next season’s CSI Miami.
Source:

Contacted recently, Timeka, who is currently in
Jamaica, told The Scene via telephone that her management team, Pyramid
Entertainment Management Limited, based in Barbados, was responsible for putting
the song up for consideration as the theme for the next season of the crime
scene investigation drama series.

“Yes it is something they [her
management team] have been working on,” Timeka said. “They have been working on
getting my songs out and while I know about it I don’t have any more details. If
it works out it would definitely be good.”

Timeka is up against
Barbadian singer Philip 7, who is managed by the same company, for the theme
song selection. Both of the artistes are sponsored by the sunglasses and sports
apparel brand Oakley.

But while she said it would definitely boost her
career should her song be chosen, Timeka is just focused on doing what she does
best and that is singing and recording.

The beautiful singer, who
certainly causes heads to turn whenever she is around, has come a far way from
the 16-year-old who won the Guyana Telephone & Telegraph Company (GT&T)
first jingle contest back in 2006.

Now at 20 and years after her first
single “Separate”, with which she stamped her authority in the local music
industry and to a lesser extent the Caribbean’s, Timeka is between Jamaica and
Guyana.

She told The Scene that while Guyana is still her home she
spends a significant amount of her time in the land of reggae music as she does
all of her recordings and video shooting in that island.Timeka’s collaboration
with Peetah, “Secrets-Hush”, has been getting a lot of radio and television time
locally and regionally from reports in other Caribbean countries.

The songstress doesn’t seem to be one to boast as she would not venture into saying
how popular her music is in Jamaica.

“To be honest I don’t get the time
to listen to the radio or watch the television so I don’t know how big the song
is here but if it is popular then I am happy,” she said when asked about the
popularity of the song.

Not one to sit idle Timeka is working on a new
and hot video, which will be out in another few months’ time. It is for a new
single called “Feel Fah”, which will be done in collaboration with Jamaican
singer ‘Busy Signal’. Timeka co–wrote the song with Tony Gold and another
Jamaican. She promises that the video would be a very “pretty and hot” one and
it is being choreographed by the same person who does Sean Paul’s videos.

“Everything I do is about work,” she said. “I am always working and in
the studio and even when I am not working on a song for me I am providing
back-up for someone.”

And yes she confirmed that she would be back in
Guyana to play a part in this year’s GT&T jingle and song contest.

She told The Scene that while she is now 20 she is just out of her
teenage years and as such she is still a child in so many ways. “I am not all
grown up. I would not consider myself grown up as I am still very much childish
and I love being that way.”

And the beauty says she is single, meaning
she is not exclusively dating anyone, and while it is not something she looking
for “if it comes along then…”

But for now, “I am just trying to
accomplish my dream and make it come true.”

Well we don't know how true that is.....but hey you never know!!!

Boxing Champ Leon Moore Promises Lindeners A ''Treat''...!!!

The last time Leon “Hurry Up” Moore stepped into a ring in the mining town of Linden, those in attendance were left on the edge of their seats after a masterful performance by the then national bantamweight champion.

He had just dished out twelve rounds of beating on the dangerous former Caribbean amateur champion Mark “The Pit Bull” Dummet to claim the Caribbean Boxing Federation Bantamweight title.

The spectators left the Mackenzie Sports Club Ground with a love for the nickname “Chicken” - in fact persons were even heard asking those who missed the fight if they had ever seen a chicken beat a pit bull? Such memories never seem to fade as I questioned a few Lindeners yesterday.
When contacted at his home, the world rated super-bantamweight said he was relaxing and just waiting to explode come Saturday.
“I know I have many fans in Linden and I’ve always rated my fight against ‘Pit Bull’ Dummet as one of my best. That’s why I asked my Manager Carwyn Holland who is also my part-time promoter to stage this card for my homies. I feel at home whenever I fight in Linden, and I just love the way the people there turn out in thousands to support any sport,” Moore said.

He went on to disclose his plans for the future and said his eyes are set on the world title, but he is not overlooking his opponent for this Saturday.
“I don’t underestimate any fighter. I know for a fact that Mark Murray is a strong fighter and he is coming in a lot heavier than me for this fight, so I have to be at my best to avoid his power punches. But what I can promise my fans that I will be the one raising my hands at the end of the fight,” the soft spoken southpaw said.
Moore will headline “The Foreign Invasion 2” card on Saturday in a catch-weight fight with Murray. The card will also feature several grueling match-ups in Debbie Tyson vs. Sharon Warde, Mitchell Rogers vs. Cloyde Williams and Cassius Matthews vs. Cecil Smith.

Threatening to steal the show, however, is the much talked about fight between “Linden Giant” Fahaad Alli and “Big Bad” Shawn Harris of Georgetown. The two-300 pounders are set to clash in a three-round Super Heavyweight exhibition bout for the bragging rights title.

Alli is a popular Lindener known for his poultry rearing and his mechanical skills, while Harris is known around Georgetown working as a labourer and riding horse carts.

Harris boldly stated he is coming to Linden to prove Fahaad is the ‘Mack Alli’ and that he is the bigger and better fat man in Guyana. Alli on the other hand promised to drive the Mackenzie Hospital Ambulance which he services to the MSC Ground in the event he has to take ‘Big Bad’ Harris to the hospital.
This intriguing match-up is expected to have the same impact as the previous ‘Fathead’ vs. ‘Boney’ fight.

Tickets go on sale from Thursday at Lifetime Gift Shop and at Lakes Electronics Stores in Linden, while the weigh-in is set for Friday outside the LEAP Office at 5:30 pm.

Sad News: Mike Tyson's 4-year old daughter, Exodus, dies in freak accident!

Former Heavyweight Champ Mike Tyson’s 4-year-old daughter, Exodus, has died, according to a spokeswoman for the family.

Cynthia Schwartz said the family will release an official statement shortly but she confirms the young girl died around noon today.

According to Schwartz, no funeral arrangements have been made. The girl, who was found by her 7-year-old brother with her neck on the cable of the exercise machine, was placed on life support at a Phoenix, Ariz., hospital yesterday near the family home, according to CNN.

“Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there’s a cord that hangs under the console – it’s kind of a loop,” said Phoenix Police Sgt. Andy Hill. “Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it. There’s nothing in the investigation that revealed anything suspicious.”

Once the boy told the girl’s mother, who was in another room, she took the girl off the cable, called 911 and tried to revive her. Emergency techs continued performing CPR on the girl as she was whisked to the hospital, Hill said.

Tyson reportedly had been in Las Vegas but flew to Phoenix immediately after learning of the accident, according to Reuters.

Hill called these kinds of accidents the most difficult to endure. “Those are the things that stay with you in your career,” he said. “We always hope for a miracle – not to have the worst happen to a child.”

Forget Octomom, Meet Desmond, Age 29 With 21 Kids!

This fertile dude seen in picture has eleven baby mothers and twenty one children. His name is Desmond and he is twenty nine:

As if Octomom wasn’t bad enough, a Tennessee man, 29 year old Desmond Hatchett has now fathered at least 21 children he can’t support. Hatchett was in child support court again last week. His name appeared on the dockett 11 times in one day, representing 15 of his children.

Hatchett says he wasn’t out to set a record. He says he never intended to have this many children, “It just happened.” He fathered the children by at least 11 different women and he claims all of the mothers knew about his large family. The children range in age from newborn to 11 years old.

The question Knox County officials now face is how to support all these children. Hatchett works a minimum wage job and by law the state can only take 50% of his paycheck for child support. By the time that money is split 21 ways, some of the mothers get less than $2 per month. That leaves the taxpayers footing a large portion of the bill for these children.

Even though Hatchett can’t support the children he has, there is nothing the state can do to prevent him from having more. Hatchett reports that he had 4 children in one year, twice. He says he’s done having children now, but only time will tell. He does say that he’s a good father and knows the names, ages, and birthdates of all of his children.

All of the blame can’t be placed on Hatchett in this case. One has to wonder about the women who chose to have his children. In the end, the children and the taxpayers of Tennessee will pay for their choices for years to come.

This is just foul. Situations like these make the concept of government regulated sterilization sound like a wonderful plan.

EXCLUSIVE: New Report Claims ''American Idol'' May Have Been Rigged !!!

We knew it !!! GtShowBiz just caught wind of an exclusive report that claims idol may have indeed been a rip off which confirms speculations from a number of media houses .

The New York Times is reporting that American Idol's Kris Allen may have had a little help from AT&T, one of the Fox show's biggest corporate sponsors, in winning this year.

According to the Times, AT&T provided phones for free text-messaging services at two Allen parties in Arkansas on the night of the finals. Citing sources, The Times reports that AT&T reps showed party-goers how to "power text" -- cast 10 votes at the touch of a button -- which violates show rules.

Power texts, according to the Times, "have an exponentially greater effect on voting than do single text messages or calls to the shows toll-free phone lines."

No similar efforts appear to have been made to provide free texting services to Adam Lambert fans

Angry Lambert supporters are now claiming in online chat boards that the competition's voting was rigged.

While Fox has yet to comment, AT&T issued the following statement: "In Arkansas, we were invited to attend the local watch parties organized by the community. A few local employees brought a small number of demo phones with them and provided texting tutorials to those who were interested."

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette first reported on the possible skewed voting last week.

Rihanna Returns in New Kanye West Video !!!

L.A. Reid and Island Def Jam Recordings have made it very clear: Spring 2009 belongs to them. During an exclusive event, Island Def Jam's Spring Collection, L.A. Reid and company showcased not only new and exclusive material coming from their flock of established artists, but also shined a massive light on several new acts falling under the pop, R&B and even alternative rock realms.

The event, which was held at the Stephen Weiss Studio in downtown NYC, housed some of the industry's most elite personalities and executives, all of whom were personally invited by Mr. L.A. Reid himself.

Leading things off, Reid began the evening's festivities with a vivid two-minute montage of the entire IDJ roster. Shortly after, L.A. presented new visuals from Fabolous ("My Time," "Throw It In The Bag") The-Dream ("Walking On The Moon" ft. Kanye West) and existing clips from Rick Ross and Method Man and Redman's current projects.

Reid then switched gears and introduced several new young acts who will soon be a priority in the IDJ building this spring. Jeremiah, a 21-year-old R&B crooner from Chicago whose single, "Birthday Sex," is rapidly climbing the Billboard charts; and 14-year-old Justin Bieber, who was brought to L.A. Reid by Usher, both received an extremely warm welcome directly after their material was showcased.

With Rihanna in attendance, it was only right that Reid premiere the new, black and white visual for Kanye's next single, "Paranoid," which features the international starlet as the leading lady.

Following the clip, Reid brought Rihanna onstage to present her with a plaque celebrating the success of her latest effort, "Good Girl Gone Bad." The set, which featured the hit singles "Umbrella," "Hate That I Love You" and "Unfaithful," is noted as selling 16 million copies worldwide.

Toward the latter part of the evening, Reid also played new material from Amerie, who was also in attendance; The Noisettes, a new alternative rock group; and the lead-off single, "H-A-T-E U," from Mariah Carey's newest project, "Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel."

Other personalities in attendance last night were Chrisette Michele, ?uest Love, Pete Wentz from Fallout Boy, DJ Khaled and Ace Hood.

NBC And Some Other Networks BID Farewell To Some Of Our Favorite TV Series

They say breaking up is hard to do, but it's not always hard -- it really depends on the breakup. There are the easy, necessary and long overdue breakups along with the sad, painful, and shocking ones. When we learned of the more than three dozen TV shows ending this season, we started to realize (being the crazy TV fans that we are) that those same breakup categories can apply to the farewells we bid to our favorite (and not-so-favorite) TV series. (Although there's a much smaller chance of drunk dialing an old favorite sitcom.)First, there are the cancellations that caught us by surprise; the shows we really wish wouldn't leave us. Samantha? Earl? (as in "…Who?" and "My Name Is…") We thought things were going so well! You were so charming and captivating and we truly enjoyed spending time with you. But, alas, you're going and there's nothing we can do to make you stay. Sigh.

Next, there are the series we once had exciting relationships with, but as time went on things got a little dull. In the case of dramas like "ER" and "Prison Break," by the end we barely recognized the shows we fell in love with years ago. We saw these breakups coming and we know ending it is for the best, but we'll always have the good old days.

And finally, there's the last, and least painful, category. The shows we barely got to know. They looked good on paper so we tried starting something up with series like "In the Motherhood" and "Kings," but lost interest before the relationships even got off the ground. We won't lose any sleep over these barely-got-to-know-ya shows, that's for sure. See-ya!

Check out a few of the notable cancellations in each category and say your own proper goodbyes:

-----------

THE HEARTBREAKERS:

"My Name is Earl" (NBC)

Though never dubbed Must-See TV, "My Name is Earl," which followed a petty crook on the road to redemption, had a strong following and actually delivered its fair share of laughs. Over the course of four seasons, Earl (played to perfection by man-boy extraordinaire, Jason Lee) mixed and mingled with some of the weirdest and wackiest characters to ever grace the small screen, including one of TV's funniest females, 2006 Best Supporting Actress winner Jamie Pressly, who portrayed Joy Farrah Darville-Hickey-Turner, a trailer trash she-devil with a heart of coal. But, after 96 episodes and innumerable El Camino, DNA test, and STD jokes, NBC decided to dump the show in favor of hanging onto Amy Poehler's questionable new program, "Parks and Recreation" … which should really be a "Saturday Night Live" sketch, not a sitcom. Excuse the sidebar. In any case, Earl and his trailer park crew have already bid adieu, and there's nothing we can do but to borrow one of Joy's signature phrases, "What the Hell?"

THE ONES THAT RAN THEIR COURSE:

"ER" (NBC)

For the fans who stuck with this medical drama for the full 15 seasons, one thing became pretty clear toward the end of its run: There were a lot less of us watching. The cast looked a lot different on the 331st episode than it did on the first, but the show will still go down in history as the longest-running -- and one of the best -- medical dramas in television history. While it may have run past its prime, "ER" took advantage of knowing which season was its last and treated fans to a trip down memory lane with appearances by favorite former cast members (George Clooney, anyone?) throughout Season 15, injecting enough excitement to bring former viewers back to the "ER" during those last few episodes.

"Boston Legal" (ABC)

Back in 2003, fans of the legal drama "The Practice" were devastated when creator David E. Kelley suddenly fired most of the show's main cast members, including Dylan McDermott and Lara Flynn Boyle, and brought on '80s film star James Spader to head up a new cast. Turns out the move was the beginning of a quirky-but-brilliant new spin-off called "Boston Legal," which eventually boasted a cast of stalwart actors like William Shatner, Candace Bergen and John Larroquette. But after five seasons, plenty of Emmy nods and wins, and wild and wacky cases dealing with everything from homeland security to white supremacist musical acts to paparazzi murders, court finally adjourned for good.

"Without a Trace" (CBS)

Riding the coattails of CBS's massively popular Jerry Bruckheimer-produced procedurals, "Without a Trace" captivated viewers with its focus on an FBI missing persons unit headed up by Special Agent Jack Malone, played by Anthony LaPaglia. In addition to following one intense case per episode, the show gave viewers a look at the team members' complicated personal lives and emotional reactions to cases. Though the series managed to crack the Top 20 in the ratings during all seven of its seasons, "Without a Trace" is about to disappear for good.

"Prison Break" (FOX)

When "Prison Break" first burst onto the scene in 2005, the show quickly gained a solid fan base and whipped them into quite a frenzy. The show, about a man who purposely lands himself in jail to help his innocent brother break out, had the edge-of-your-seat excitement of "24" and the you-better-pay-attention mystery of "Lost." Unfortunately, the series began mixing things up a little too much, moving the setting to Central America, and losing its viewer interest along the way. Its new Friday timeslot this year didn't help matters and after four seasons, "Prison Break" will be taking a permanent one.

Talk About It: If you could only save one show, which show would it be?

Kris Allen wins "American Idol"

Yes people its true, to our surprise Kris Allen the underdog, came back and won the nation over.

This Arkansas college student won the eighth season of "American Idol" on Wednesday, dealing an unexpected defeat to musical theatre actor Adam Lambert on the most popular U.S. television show.

Allen, who won over audiences by putting his personal, acoustic spin on popular tunes, appeared shocked as rival Lambert embraced him following the announcement by host Ryan Seacrest.
"It feels good, but Adam deserves this," Allen said to Seacrest. "I don't even know what to feel right now. This is crazy.

Lambert's commanding vocal range and stage presence -- and the judges' adoration of him -- at times turned "Idol" into "The Adam Lambert Show," with the other contestants mere guests. But it turned out that "Idol" viewers could embrace a gifted performer like Lambert, one who sported black nail polish and bold self-assurance, only to a point.

Simon Cowell tipped his hat to both contestants Wednesday. "To both of you, and I don't normally mean this, I thought you were both brilliant. .... The future's all yours," the judge said.

Before the results were announced, Lambert and Allen had a moment of musical camaraderie: They joined together with Queen on the rock anthem "We Are the Champions."
"Adam did win. So did Kris. Nobody lost tonight. These are two champions," said Paul Stanley from Kiss backstage.

The comments from Cowell and Stanley aren't necessarily empty platitudes. Past contestants can testify that losing the title doesn't mean you're a loser, nor does winning mean you're a shoo-in for superstardom.

Jay-Z Buys Out His Contract At Def Jam and Walks.

Maybe we can now get that Blueprint 3 album we've been waiting so long for. Jay-Z has officially parted ways with his home for more than a decade, Def Jam. On Thursday morning (May 21), Hits Daily Double reported in its Rumor Mill section that Hov — who owed Def Jam one last album — bought himself out of his contract for $5 million. Get the full scoop when you flip it.

On Thursday afternoon, Jay contacted RapRadar.com and confirmed his departure.

"I can honestly say, working with Doug Morris and L.A. Reid has been a unique and fulfilling experience, and I respect them immensely," Hov told the Web site. "I've been in the family for almost my entire career. Doug and I spoke directly and had one of the most unique 'negotiations' ever."

Jay said that negotiation included a coin toss. "Doug won the toss, but we both won in the end," Jay said. "I thank him for allowing me to be a completely independent artist. Not every artist can say they own or are given the opportunity to own all of their music."

Jay started his own record company, Roc Nation, and has been working on the Blueprint 3 with Kanye West since 2008.

In February, Jay joked that he was too free in making his latest opus.

"If I don't have any time constraints, I'll mess around, I'll never get it done," he said. "I'll be Axl Rose out here! It'll be 12 years later, and we'll be talking about Chinese Democracy. I really like the [time constraints]. But whatever happens, [the album] may turn out better, 'cause it'll be done when it's right."

Usain Bolt clocks fastest ever 150m!

Put him in an Olympic stadium or a shopping street in the centre of Manchester and the result is the same: total annihilation.

The frightening thing is that the big Jamaican, who pushed back the boundaries of possibility last summer when he won three gold medals in world record time in Beijing, insists he is still only 70 per cent fit following an interrupted winter and the loss of nine days' training after his car crash last month.

His winning time in Sunday's rarely run 150 metres was an eye-popping 14.35sec, smashing the previous best-known time for the distance of Canada's Donovan Bailey - 14.99sec run on bend against Michael Johnson in 1997.

Britain's Marlon Devonish was a distant second in 15.07sec. He admitted Bolt was in "a league of his own".

Bolt's time will now be ratified by the International Association of Athletics Federations as an official 'world best', though it is his 100m split-time that will send shockwaves across the world - 9.90sec on a rain-soaked track in temperatures more common to February than mid-May.

To put that into perspective, Dwain Chambers managed 10.21sec in his first 100m of the season on Saturday in the tropical heat of Puerto Rico. The Briton's talk of 'Project Bolt' looks precisely that: just talk.

Bolt must now be taken at his word when he says he is capable of improving on his 100m world record of 9.69sec this summer. "Anything is possible" is his mantra, and on this evidence it is hard to think of a better phrase to describe what lies ahead this summer.

"You can expect great things from me," said Bolt. "I always go out and try to do my best."

His performance, which ended with his trademark 'lighting bolt' celebration, was a reward for the several thousands hardy souls who shivered under umbrellas for most of the afternoon beside the temporary track erected on Manchester's Deansgate.

But by the time Bolt took to the stage for the final the rain clouds had cleared and even the sun was starting to burst through. His Midas touch clearly extends to the elements.

The Mother and Daughter Pageant a big success!

In the eighteen years that it has been staged, the Supa Stylistics Mother and Daughter pageant has developed a sense of efficiency and an expected taste of good family entertainment.
This year’s instalment, held on the eve of Mother’s Day, offered no less: a regular dose of enthusiastic girls and their moms; from the tots to those about to blossom into young women and the older, more graceful girls and their equally stylish moms.

Catwalk model attitudes were very evident in the junior category where the children were the least self-conscious and a delight to watch

The beauty of this pageant, held this year under the theme ‘Love Roses… Coming of Age’, is that it allows an open window, though brief, into the bond a woman shares with her daughter from the earliest years to the tougher ones. This year’s pageant was entertaining and skillfully executed as promised.

Coordinators, Ingrid Fung and her daughter Sulan routinely deliver a show worthy of watching. They manage to recruit good pairs and usually prepare them well for the show, despite the obvious slip-ups and at times, excessive delays that occurred this year.

However, what is appealing about the show is that after 18 years it still has that magnetic pull, arousing curiosity as to what the pairs are likely to wear, how well they will they relate to each other and which pair will walk away winners in the respective categories.

The show also offers an insight into those childhood years when girls are bold, precocious and blissfully unaware of that thing called public scrutiny. The girls onstage on Saturday night last in the junior category were adorable and simply fun to watch.

The junior category boasted a line-up of beautiful little misses and their moms in vibrant colours and playful designs. While the misses bounced around on stage displaying their outfits, and stealing the spotlight away from their mothers, one particular tot added a different touch.

Little Tyanne, modeling with her mother Tikesha Sullivan-Elias, had the entire National Cultural Centre behind her as she flounced on stage. Throwing an excessive amount of bounce into her walk and swaying her body in various directions, Tyanne easily won over the crowd. And she modelled well, displaying her outfit with ease. Her mother managed to keep up, but was clearly unable to match her daughter’s zest.

In the end, Tyanne and her mom captured the top spot, followed by Donna Wong and Aliya and Sacha Paul and Katana. With trophy in hand, title already bestowed, little Tyanne gave the audience one last taste of her unforgettable walk as she exited the stage, mom following behind in broad smiles.

The middle category was not as exciting. Though the designs were creative and the pairs competing tried to arouse interest, the audience was largely not as interested as they had been in the earlier category.

Yvonne Vickerie and daughter Amina emerged winners in this category. This mother and daughter duo’s interesting outfits could double as skirt suits and Capri pant suits. Ambika Persaud and her daughter Nadia came second, while Donna Edghillo and her daughter Akesia placed third.

The senior category was the most anticipated and it lived up to the hype, featuring a line-up of mothers and daughters eager to reveal the bonds they share. From the opening pair of Gem Sandford-Johnson and her daughter Anastacia, the tone was set — graceful steps and playful moments coupled with stunning outfits.

Gem and Anastacia were stunning in Olympia Small-Sonaram designed outfits, and the brief while they spent on stage revealed an enviable closeness between mother and daughter. The two women hugged and kissed and shared light moments of laughter while displaying their outfits. It was a moment worth watching and it was adored by the majority of those in attendance. Not surprisingly, they emerged winners in the category.

Closely behind the winning pair were Phillipa Amsterdam and her daughter, Amanda, who looked royal in purple. The NCC was in uproar when Phillipa mom took the stage, some initially believing that she was the daughter, but then a younger version of her waked out. Mother and daugher looked lovely, and the audience clearly was behind mom.

Tracy Junor and Tremane, and Patricia Helwig and Delicia were the runners up in the senior category.

Texting Deal FINALLY Reached Between the 'Red and Blue' Networks !!!

Digicel and Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GT&T) subscribers will finally be able to interconnect via Short Messaging Service (SMS) from next month.

A joint release issued yesterday said “Digicel and GT&T are pleased to announce that they have come to an agreement to enable cross-network mobile texting in Guyana”
“Customers of each network will from June 1st, 2009, for the first time, be able to text customers of the other network”, the brief release added.

The issue has been contentious and one which Digicel had been plugging for a long time. GT&T had indicated its willingness to facilitate the move but reportedly had some concerns it wanted to iron out. A senior official within GT&T had said that the agreement was something that the company stood to benefit significantly from but stated that there were issues that had not been properly addressed.

Digicel’s Public Relations Officer Alex Graham told this newspaper that the company was looking to put a release out on the issue but up to press time this release had not been received.

In February, Digicel Chief Executive Officer Gregory Dean told Stabroek Business that his company had found the process of negotiating an interconnection agreement with GT&T “frustrating” and accused GT&T of creating needless hurdles for providing what he called a “basic service”.

He said that as a result of the response of GT&T, his company had consequently decided to set aside an existing draft SMS agreement and seek to address all interconnection (both voice and text) issues with GT&T through a single process. “We are now going to be saying to GT&T that these are all the issues that we have in relation to interconnection and this is how we propose to solve them,” Dean had said.

Dean explained that an understanding between the two companies on the desirability of an SMS agreement had been arrived at more than a year ago.

He said that at that time both sides had said that they needed time “to be technically prepared” for interconnection. In May last year both parties indicated their technical readiness, tests were done and it was established that the system worked, he said.

The CEO disclosed that GT&T then drafted an amendment to the current interconnection agreement dealing with voice traffic which agreement had gone “back and forth” between the two parties to make changes and adjustments.

The CEO said that in December, GT&T sought clarification of some of the changes which DIGICEL had made to the agreement and indicated that it wished to include a further “five or six items” of its own.

”We spent two weeks on the agreement after which we told GT&T that we accepted all of their changes,” He said that after the contract was returned to GT&T that company then said that their lawyers were busy.

Dean said that DIGICEL then told GT&T that it believed that the issue was a simple one and that the company wished to be notified as to whether or not GT&T really wanted an SMS interconnection agreement.

The agreement comes a week after Digicel filed a lawsuit to challenge GT&T’s monopoly on international traffic to and from Guyana.

Dad Eats His Son’s Eyes Out

It's when things like this starts happening we really gotta believe that jesus is really coming soon, over in the US a man in Bakersfield got so wet, police believe he ate out his four year old sons eyes. Yea that's rite the kid's eye.

Source:
“It was pretty bizarre,” said neighbor Ramon Rodriguez.Rodriguez was one of the first to discover 34-year-old Angelo Mendoza on April 28 after police said Mendoza bit an eyeball out of his 4-year-old son’s face and ate it.”The guy was crazy. Real bug-eyed; he had to be on drugs,” said Rodriguez.

Court documents said neighbors checked on Mendoza’s son, Angelo Jr., after they noticed the father acting nervously and fleeing from his east Bakersfield apartment in his wheelchair. Inside, they found little Angelo naked and bleeding. Police said the boy had numerous bites to his hands and his eyes were swollen shut. Doctors said the boy’s left eye and muscle were completely missing. His other eye was mutilated beyond repair. The boy told them, “My daddy ate my eyes out.” Rodriguez said meanwhile Mendoza approached him at a neighbor’s vacant house down the street. Rodriguez said the boy’s father wheeled himself into the front yard and asked Rodriguez to play with him and a pet dog. He was wearing boxers and a sweater. When Rodriguez refused, Mendoza got off his wheelchair and dragged himself into a back yard, where he found an ax.

By then Mendoza had stripped naked. He chained himself to a tree in the back yard and began hacking at his leg with a pickax while yelling incoherently. “He told me to look into the sun and pray with him. I was kinda scared for a minute,” said Rodriguez
.
Then Rodriguez jumped on Mendoza and wrestled the ax away. “As soon as I grabbed the ax he tried to bite me, and I had to hold him down with my knee. There was dry blood around his mouth. I don’t know if it was his own, but I’m pretty sure it was his son’s now that I hear the story,” said Rodriguez. The police report said Mendoza appeared to be under the influence of PCP. Rodriguez said had he known about little Angelo, the outcome would have been different. “I would’ve just let him cut his leg off. What happened to his son is not right. I would’ve left him alone,” said Rodriguez.

Mendoza was arrested on charges of torture, aggravated mayhem, and cruelty to a child. The toddler is now in the custody of Child Protective Services. Mendoza is due in court May 20. His bail is set at $1 million.

Student Slaps Teacher!!! SMH....

A third form student at the Berbice High School may face expulsion for striking a female teacher on Wednesday as part of a reported prank.

Reports are that the boy went up to the teacher and dealt her a blow behind the head as she stood in the corridor. He then ran away laughing but the teacher reportedly suffered a... concussion as a result of the blow. Sources say that the teacher refused an apology from the boy during a meeting with his parents, and that a formal complaint was subsequently lodged with education officials in the region.

The boy has insisted that he was joking and meant the teacher no harm, but the teacher is reported to have said that she found no humour in the incident.

The boy has also maintained that it was not a serious blow. In February, a teacher at the Berbice High School was suspended for allegedly flogging 31 students in the class including girls, with a “bamboo rod” on their buttocks for not submitting assignments on time.

The teacher, Jeanne Jeffrey, was later reinstated following protest action by several students and the Parent Teachers Association, but she has been barred from promotion for two years.

WOW : CHINA TO OPEN SEX PARK !!!

In a country where talking openly about sex is considered taboo, the city of Chongqing is getting ready to open the first-ever sex theme park in the country.

China's Love Land is set to open this October but is already facing much opposition from conservatives.

The park will feature exhibits on sexual history, feature naked human... sculptures, giant genitals throughout, and will also have a sex technique workshop.

According to the park's manager, Lu Xiaoqing, the park is said to help people "enjoy a harmonious sex life." Adding that "Sex is a taboo subject in China but people really need to have more access to information about it."

Seriously, maybe that'd stop a lot of underage kids from getting pregnant.

As for the idea behind the park, turns out it was stolen copied off Korea's Jeju island, which has a park called Loveland. But China's park is already doing its part to get the topic of sex out in the public with many people having mixed ideas about it.

Lu adds, "It is quite normal to see so much discussion about it. I have found that the majority of people support my idea but I have to pay attention and not make the park look vulgar and nasty.

Wonder if they're going to consider adding some themed rides to the park.

Hmmmm.....

US Soldier kills Five of his fellow Troops, stress of combat?

A U.S. soldier in Iraq fired on his own troops Monday, killing five people in what Defense Secretary Robert Gates described as “a great and urgent cause for concern.”

Initially, reports surfaced that the shooter had been killed in the attack, but U.S. military officials said last night that the suspect, Sgt. John Russell, had been a patient at a stress clinic, was in custody. Russell is charged with five counts of murder and aggravated assault. A senior military official told The Associated Press that it is unclear whether those killed are workers at the clinic or were there for counseling. Whether the deceased are members of the military is also undetermined, he said.

"We are still in the process of gathering information on exactly what happened," Gates said. "But if the preliminary reports are confirmed, such a tragic loss of life at the hands of our own forces is a cause for great and urgent concern. And I can assure you that it will get this department's highest priority attention."

When word of the tragedy reached the White House, President Obama expressed shock and sadness.

"Our hearts go out to the families and friends of all the service members involved in this terrible tragedy," he said in a statement. “…[M]y heart goes out to the families and friends of all the service members involved in this horrible tragedy. I will press to ensure that we fully understand what led to this tragedy, and that we are doing everything we can to ensure that our men and women in uniform are protected as they serve our country so capably and courageously in harm's way."

The clinic where the shootings took place is designed for troops who are experiencing the stresses of combat and their personal lives.

Four Canadians caught trying to traffic nine suitcases of cocaine! This is happening too often.

Four Canadian nationals were arrested at approximately 4.40 am yesterday after 9 kilogrammes, 89 gramnes of cocaine was found concealed behind false walls in nine suitcases.

They were the latest drug couriers in a parade of them recently which law enforcement sources say suggests a desperate cash crunch in some rings abroad. Sources also suggest that with the depressed circumstances up north more and more willing recruits are available for narcotics runs. Sources say that the stashing of the cocaine yesterday in nine suitcases was indicative of a determined effort to avoid the detection of the cocaine by spreading it around.

Sources however said that law enforcement authorities at the airport were tipped off about the couriers and were waiting for them. The cocaine was found in false compartments in the suitcases and the quartet was taken into custody.

The two males and two females, who were outgoing passengers on a flight at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA), Timehri are currently in police custody and charges will be laid shortly, police said.

The steady stream of drug couriers, sources say, points in the direction of a readily available supply of the drug on the local market and the likelihood that for every courier held, others are getting through.

Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson and Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton have sentenced, remanded and granted bail to several persons recently who were charged with trafficking in narcotics. (See other story on page three.) United States-based Guyanese, Americans and citizens from the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) have appeared before the courts for trafficking in cocaine and heroin at CJIA. Inserting packed condoms in body parts, swallowing pellets, concealing in luggage, books and boxes are among the many methods used in attempt to traffic these narcotic substances.

American Ajar Bourne admitted to trafficking 1kg 22g of heroin when she appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on May 8. Four days earlier she was discovered at CJIA with two condoms, packed with the heroin. Concern has been expressed over the discovery of heroin as this is not a drug manufactured here.

Sources say that this drug would most likely have been smuggled across the borders indicating the breadth of the narcotics network.

On the same day 19-year-old American Diamond R Boulware was remanded after being charged with trafficking in 1 kilogramme, 22 grammes of cocaine. Another American woman, Christina Nicola Williams was charged on May 4th with trafficking in narcotics and remanded to prison when she appeared before Magistrate Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
Michelle Booker allegedly had over 1.9 kgs of cocaine in her possession for the purpose of trafficking on April 25 at the CJIA and was charged four days later. On the same day Matthew Busgith, alleged to have had 2g of cocaine in his possession at the airport on April 26, was remanded to prison.

A Surinamese drug mule was sentenced to four years imprisonment and ordered to pay a fine on April 8. The 22-year-old father of four, Joel Ofwintu admitted to having 795 g of cocaine in his possession for the purpose of trafficking at CJIA April 5. Jamaican national Richard Rudolph Gayle, of 114 Headley Park, Kingston who admitted swallowing over 100 pellets of cocaine was also sentenced to four years imprisonment on March 8.

Yvonne Caesar, a 59-year-old US-based Guyanese, was remanded to prison on January 29. It was alleged that on January 25 at CJIA Caesar, of 14 Bee Hive and 30 Nabaclis, East Coast Demerara, had in her possession 245g of cocaine.

A Jamaican national was yesterday sentenced to four years imprisonment and a $2M fine for narcotics trafficking by Magistrate Hazel-Octive Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

Chris Benoit's Doctor Gets Ten Years!!!

The doctor who prescribed steroids for late wrestler Chris Benoit is going to prison for ten years.

Dr. Phil Astin was sentenced today in Georgia after he pled guilty to 25 counts back in January, including illegally distributing prescription drugs.

It's still unclear whether Astin-prescribed steroids caused Benoit to go berserk in 2007 -- when he killed his wife and child, then took his own life.

Astin was also linked to another wrestling tragedy -- Michael Durham died in 2006 with toxic levels of Soma and hydrocodone.

We miss you Benoit.

SOME VERY SAD NEWS: Youth Killed Less Than a Day After College Graduation

We are pissed off that this innocent young man was killed in less than a day right after his graduation. This is just ridiculous:

A day after proudly watching her son graduate from the University of Buffalo, a Bronx mom is now making plans to bury the brainy future engineer. Javon Jackson, 23, was shot and killed just after 3 a.m. Sunday outside a bar in Buffalo as he celebrated his graduation. Cops believe the gunman and three other men walked up behind Jackson and fired at least twice at the newly minted grad. “This was supposed to be my Mother’s Day gift,” grieving mom Theresa Williams, told reporters in Buffalo. “I was so proud of him.”

Williams and Jackson’s father, who flew in from Chicago, both attended their son’s graduation and were still upstate when they learned of the terrible news. Even hardboiled cops were jarred by the parents’ tragedy. “His father and mother were so proud to have their son graduate from college,” Chief of Detectives Dennis Richards said. “Now, they are distraught beyond words.” Jackson grew up in the Pelham Parkway Houses and graduated from Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics. Friends flooded an online memorial site with stories about his quick wit and big smile. Childhood friend Alexis Dorsett said Jackson was always more interested in his studies than fighting.

“He’s a good kid. Humorous, focused on school,” Dorsett said. “He’s a great kid. It’s hard.” Williams said she last saw her son alive when he went out to see some friends. “I never thought it would be the last time,” she said, fighting back tears. Jackson was crossing Main St., a stretch of road lined with bars full of students celebrating graduation, when he was gunned down. Police believe they may have caught the shooting on a surveillance camera.

We really hope they catch those idiots and get rid of those scums on the streets i mean the kid was just about ready to start life..SMH

Chris Brown denies having anything to do with the Rihanna Nude Photos.

Late last week, self-taken nude photos of a woman alleged to be award-winning pop star Rihanna were posted on the internet, and while no one from RiRi's camp has denied or confirmed it's the "Umbrella" singer in the pics, a rep for her estranged boyfriend Chris Brown is lashing out against online reports that he had anything to do with these photos making their way to the world wide web.

“This is both a false and defamatory statement," reads a statement from Brown's rep to Essence.com. "Chris has not released or ‘leaked’ any photos of Rihanna (or anyone else for that matter).”

What is not addressed in the statement is whether or not the pics are indeed of Rihanna and whether or not that is indeed Chris with what appears to be a pair of panties draped over his head in one photo.

A little about Mother's Day.

The modern Mother's Day holiday was created by Anna Jarvis, as a day to honor mothers and motherhood; especially within the context of families, and family relationships. It is now celebrated on various days, in many parts of the world. Father's Day is a corresponding holiday honoring fathers.

The practice of celebrating Mother's Day is a relatively recent tradition, first established in the U.S.A. in the early 20th century. It should not be confused with other pagan and Christian traditions honoring mothers, or with the U.K. holiday, Mothering Sunday, which is also known as Mother's Day and dates back to the 16th century.

Many countries around the world now celebrate a "Mother's Day", generally this is a recent practice, derived from the U.S. tradition. Exceptions include, for example, Mothering Sunday in the UK, which predates the U.S. holiday.

Different countries celebrate Mother's Day on various days of the year because the day has a number of different origins.

One school of thought [who?] claims this day emerged from a custom of mother worship in ancient Greece, which kept a festival to Cybele, a great mother of Greek gods. This festival was held around the Vernal Equinox around Asia Minor and eventually in Rome itself from the Ides of March (15 March) to 18 March.

The ancient Romans also had another holiday, Matronalia, that was dedicated to Juno, though mothers were usually given gifts on this day.

In addition to Mother's Day, International Women's Day is celebrated in many countries on March 8.

In 1912, Anna Jarvis trademarked the phrases "second Sunday in May" and "Mother's Day", and created the Mother's Day International Association.

"She was specific about the location of the apostrophe; it was to be a singular possessive, for each family to honour their mother, not a plural possessive commemorating all mothers in the world."

This is also the spelling used by U.S. President Woodrow Wilson in the law making official the holiday in the U.S., by the U.S. Congress on bills, and by other U.S. presidents on their declarations.

Common usage in English language also dictates that the ostensibly singular possessive "Mother's Day" is the preferred spelling, although "Mothers' Day" (plural possessive) is not unheard of.

The real religion of the world comes from women much more than from men - from mothers most of all, who carry the key of our souls in their bosoms. - Oliver Wendell Holmes

BEYONCE TO RETIRE????! PLANS ON TAKING TWO YEARS OFF AFTER WORLD TOUR ... SAY'S SHE'S 'TIRED'!!!!

Doesn't it seem like Beyonce's been ALL UP IN YOUR FACE for the last 3 or 4 years. Well we just learned that's about to change.

In a recent interview, Beyonce told reporters that she's going to disappear for 2 years. Here's her exact quote:

"My priorities are slowly changing. So after this tour I might be tired and want to take two years off. I've worked hard enough to be able to do that. I'm in a very good place. "

Sounds true. We will just have to wait and see and really it would be good for her because she indeed works hard so maybe it's time to relax.
